I was an executive for one of the largest discount brokers TD Ameritrade. As the President & Chief Operating Officer of TD Ameritrade Investment Management, I led its growth from under $10M in 2003 to over $23B in assets under management. TDAIM served, at its peak, over 150,000 families. My team and I professionally managed portfolios using low-cost ETFs, mutual funds and stocks for those clients that needed investment management help.
I am proud of my accomplishments at TDAIM and the thousands of families we helped over the years. While my professional journey was rewarding financially and professionally, I wanted to do something more impactful for individual families. My flat fee or hourly fee for planning is my only compensation. I charge for my comprehensive financial planning, and I do not receive compensation from any other sources, e.g. sales commissions, referral fees to other professionals, securities transactions, etc.
