How is Advice-Only different?
Advice-only means I give recommendations based on your family's goals/values and then help you implement the advice. Advice is comprehensive and areas include assessing retirement readiness, reviewing opportunities to save on taxes, making sure your estate is in order or identifying charitable giving strategies. It's about what your family needs and how I can help.
As part of my comprehensive planning solution, I also review, evaluate and recommend investment changes.
How I help families like yours?
My comprehensive process is a thorough approach to help you understand where you are today and plan for the future with confidence. It involves providing clarity of your current financial situation, identifying goals that reflect your values, creating a plan to pursue those goals, and then implementing, monitoring and adjusting your plan as needed. I work on a one-time or retainer basis, regardless, it is always a flat fee, with no hidden fees or charges.

How am I compensated?
My fees range from as little as $400 for an hour of my help to $6,000 for a comprehensive financial plan. The fee you pay is my only compensation. I do not earn money from any other sources, like commissions, referral fees, percentage of assets under management, etc.
I chose this model because it is simple, transparent, and fair for your family and mine. My solutions and fees can be found here.
I also provide pro-bono or reduced fee planning for those less fortunate than me. Please reach out to me if you are in that situation and need help.
A little bit about me...
I was an executive for one of the largest financial services firms TD Ameritrade. As the President & Chief Operating Officer of TD Ameritrade Investment Management (TDAIM), I led its growth from under $10M in 2003 to over $23B in assets under management. TDAIM served, and at its peak, over 150,000 families.
While my professional journey was rewarding, I wanted to do something more impactful for individual families. Financial planning is not just about investing, it is so much more, and it is built on relationships and trust.
