This is a complimentary one-hour video or phone call. This meeting helps me learn more about your family, values and planning goals. The meeting isn't about solving planning issues. No commitments will be asked for during that meeting and only move forward when you are ready.
We review a financial planning agreement that defines the specific areas for your advice only planning needs, our respective responsibilities, and the simple, clear and transparent fees. This letter is signed by your family and me. One-half (1/2) of the planning fee is due at that time.
Your information is compiled and organized using a confidential, secure online portal. Also, you will begin to create your Statement of Financial Purpose (SFP). The SFP is a personally designed phrase(s) to ground your family's financial decision-making in a sense of purpose aligning with your values.
We review your financial information for accuracy. We also reconfirm your financial goals based on your Statement of Financial Purpose. The SFP helps me focus on what is important to your family and helps you make clearer decisions in a world of shiny objects and distractions.
Your financial information is thoroughly analyzed, guided by your SFP, to develop strategies that help meet your goals that align with your values. The resulting analysis is meant to provide an actionable plan based on short-, medium- and long-term goals.
Your completed plan is reviewed during one or two planning meetings. These meetings will be both educational and action oriented, with tasks for your family. You will gain a full understanding of your current financial situation and how to implement your plan. The remaining one-half (1/2) balance of my fee is due.
After plan delivery, I will follow up with you to see how you are doing over the next month with your tasks. Even the best financial plan is worthless if left unused. You also have the option, but no obligation to work with me in the future, either on a one-time or annual basis.
